The goal of the Pyrrhonian skeptics is a tranquillity(Ataraxia). The tranquillity is a relative concept of distress, so in order to understand the ataraxia of skeptics, it is necessary to understand what kind of distress they are trying to get out of. The distress in contrast to the tranquillity of the pyrrhonian sceptisism is distress related to values ​​or practices (value- distress), the pain that comes from not grasping the truth of irregularities (knowledge-distress), and the pain caused by the opposition of the Logos (Logos-distress) There is this. Value-distress is the suffering caused by the belief that something is intrinsically worthwhile, and tranquillity can be attained by withholding this belief. But knowledge-distress is not. That is a distress caused by not discovering the truth, so it must be resolved through the discovery of the truth. Moreover, knowledge-distress is the suffering of all who begin the quest, not the suffering inherent in the Pyrrhonist's tranquillity. The conflict between the logos and the resulting Logos-distress, which is discovered in the process of resolving knowledge-distress, is the pain that skeptics are trying to solve. Since that conflict arises because of the truth implication of the logos, the skeptic's attention turns from the truth to the phenomenon through judgment reservation. And through this, we are freed from Logos-distress, and the essential nature of finding the truth is removed, so that knowledge-distress is also resolved.
